sustaiNABLE MATERIAL WE WORK WITH

Texcyle takes pride in sourcing material from the most ethical and forward-thinking suppliers. We work with a blend of only sustainable materials at the moment as we are clear with our environmental goals.

ORGANIC COTTON

Organic cotton is a sustainable and eco-friendly alternative to conventional cotton. It is grown without the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or genetically modified organisms (GMOs). It promotes soil health, conserves water, and protects farmers and the environment.

RECYCLED POLYSTER

Recycled polyester, also known as rPET is an eco-friendly alternative to traditional polyester, is crafted from post-consumer plastic bottles or discarded textiles. By diverting waste from landfills and reducing dependence on virgin materials, it minimizes environmental impact. This sustainable fabric preserves resources, consumes less energy, and contributes to a responsible textile industry.

BIO ELASTANE

Hyosung’s creora® bio-based elastane used in our socks is made by replacing 30% of petroleum-based resources with bio-based raw materials derived from industrial field corn also called as dent. This elastane  leads to reduction in water consumption by 39% and carbon dioxide emissions by 23% as compared to regular elastane. Bio Elastane offers the same stretch and comfort you love, while reducing environmental impact.

BAMBOO

Bamboo is a sustainable and eco-friendly material that grows quickly and requires less water than other crops. Naturally soft and gentle on the skin, it is ideal for those with sensitivities. The presence of “bamboo kun” gives it natural antibacterial properties, keeping feet fresh and odour-free. Bamboo is also hypoallergenic, moisture-wicking, and thermo-regulating, ensuring comfort in all seasons while contributing to a more sustainable textile industry.

Hemp

Hemp fabric offers unmatched durability, breathability, and versatility while being eco-friendly. It softens with each wash, resists odors, and provides UV protection. Hemp cultivation is known for its low water consumption compared to other fibers and enriches soil without the need for pesticides. As a renewable and biodegradable option, hemp is perfect for sustainable living

LineN

Linen, derived from the flax plant, is a naturally durable and breathable fiber. Known for its moisture-wicking properties, it offers a crisp texture and a unique softness that enhances with each wash. Sustainably sourced, linen creates lightweight, eco-friendly socks that blend style and comfort seamlessly.
